Found these little white cotton-looking balls in my mulch the other day and having a hard time finding out what it could possibly be. Not sure if it is a mold or a fungi. Google images says Saprophytic Fungi but others I have shared with have guessed it to be a mold of some sort. It does appear to have mycelium coming off of it but not sure if it is from it or not.

Any other guesses?
